Most musical have wonderful overtures. One of my favorite ones is from “Candide” by Leonard Bernstein.  It has a wonderfully upbeat and full of life melody.  It is one of those that is very unique and makes you feel like you are in for something wonderful when you sit in the theater before the show starts. This is my Overture.

Most people who know me,  know that I have a song for everything.  You name it, I probably know of a song that can be song (or a line from a show) that goes with the word or phrase or situation at hand. If I cannot think of one, well then I will just make it up. Of course, if I make it up it ends up being cute and or funny and then usually turns dirty. I don’t know why but it does. Must be my DNA.

I am writing this blog “My Life is a Showtune” because….well I think I have a lot to say. I have had many adventures and hopefully will have interesting things to say.

My adventures are many and I have a lot of songs to sing.
